Young Alumni Council
You've tossed your tasseled cap and left the stage with a bow. You are probably wondering to yourself, 'What do I do now?'" Allow the Young Alumni Council of Hanover College to help you transition from student to alum and provide opportunities to fellowship, develop, and thrive. You graduated within the last 10 years, and now is the time to expand your impact, engage with your new community, and increase your potential. The Young Alumni Council is here to help ensure this new journey is filled with joy.
The Young Alumni Council (YAC) aims to implement programs and activities that engage recent Hanover College graduates. Through this servant leadership, the council is an advisory and programming board for graduates, strengthening the relationship between young alumni and Hanover College. The Young Alumni Council also fosters the development of volunteers and future leaders by deepening their commitment to Hanover College and preparing them for active alum leadership roles.
The Young Alumni Council works with the Office of Advancement to support Hanover College's mission and serve the young alumni community by:
- Promoting the social, professional, philanthropic, and service interests of Young Alumni.
- Ensure continued improvement at Hanover College for students and alumni through service- and support-specific initiatives.
- Educating current students and recent alumni about the goals, projects, and services of Hanover College and the YAC.
- Stewarding graduates of the last 10 years in increased engagement and philanthropy with Hanover College.
- Developing programming and communications tailored to Hanover's newest alums.
