Alumni Leadership Council: Your Voice at Hanover

In 2016, Hanover College and the Alumni Association Board reimagined alumni engagement to align with new goals in career planning and preparation. The result is a modern engagement model designed to keep alumni meaningfully connected to campus life. Effective July 1, 2017, the Alumni Association is led by the Alumni Leadership Council (ALC).

What the ALC does (volunteer-led):

• Coordinate the work of alumni advisory boards, committees, and groups
• Ensure alumni in these roles are engaged at the highest levels
• Advocate for Hanover College and robust alumni engagement
• Promote alumni involvement across the institution
• Serve as a sounding board and resource for administration, faculty, staff, students, and alumni
• Model leadership and engagement for students
• Support and recommend strategies that invite alumni to share their time, talent, and treasure to advance Hanover’s mission
• Encourage support for the College’s strategic plan and institutional goals
