Join us on September 17th, 2022, for the Erin Working Memorial 5K hosted by Erin's 5K Committee.  This event, which will be hosted on Hanover College’s campus and virtually, will support the Erin Working Study Abroad Scholarship.  The race fee will be $35 for general admission and $15 for students. Raffle tickets will also be available on the day of the event.

About Erin and the Scholarship

Erin Working was a 2019 graduate of Hanover College who majored in Anthropology and minored in Spanish.  Erin had many passions which included service, traveling, disability advocacy, and leadership.  Erin was a loyal friend, a loving daughter, and is greatly missed by all. Her friends and family have established the Erin Working Study Abroad Scholarship to further her memory and support Erin’s love of traveling abroad by providing financial support to a fellow Hanover College student in their study abroad endeavors.

How it Works

 

In-person race

  • 10:00 a.m-10:50 a.m.: Check-in
  • 10:50 a.m.: Short remarks about Erin Working
  • 11:00 a.m.: Race starts!

Virtual 5k

  • Register for the 5K below and receive an Erin Working Memorial 5K t-shirt in the mail
  • Run the 5K anytime on September 17th
  • Send your results and photos (optional) to richmond@hanover.edu
  • All t-shirts will start being sent out on September 1st
