This annual event brings Hanover College alumni together across the country, and welcomes recent graduates who have just moved to the city to the neighborhood!

This year's Welcome to the Neighborhood will be on September 7!

Are you interested in hosting a Welcome to the Neighborhood event in your city? Locations can be at any venue - for example, bars, breweries, parks, or restaurants. Fill out the form below to host an event!

Host Information


Host Responsibilities 

  • Choose a local venue and time you would like to host the event
  • Contact the venue to reserve space for the group (pick somewhere you're able to do this for free, if you choose a venue that requires an event fee this is not Hanover College's responsibility to pay. Attendees are responsible for paying for their tab)
  • Let Michelle know your venue and time by July 20 
  • Promote the event on your social media and to your local friends and Hanover connections
  • Optional: send email invitations to alumni in your area (we will provide the list)
  • Show up a little early to set up the supplies we supply and welcome guests
  • Snap some photos for the Alumni social media page and future event promotions

Event Timing

All events will take place on September 7, and you can choose the start and end times for something that works best for you! Typically events start around 5 or 6.
