Lanthier Winery

 

Enjoy a private two-hour wine tasting event in the charming atmosphere of Lanthier Winery, with a behind-the-scenes peek at the process of winemaking from grape to glass. 

Explore the winery with a visit to the art gallery on the upper floor or the garden inspired by Tami Hagemier, winery owner and master gardener. 

The $50 registration fee includes a guided tasting of red and white wines (guided by two Hanover alumni!), charcuterie board and sandwich tray catered by Red Pepper, access to the Lanthier Winery grounds, and free parking. 

After the wine, walk a few blocks to the Rockin' on the River Concert in Bicentennial Park. The Doctor's Band opens at 6, followed by the Monarchs at 8. 

This event was canceled due to low registrations. Keep an eye out for a future event at Lanthier!

Terrance Mulligan McCarthy '18

Terrance Mulligan McCarthy graduated from Hanover College in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Movement Studies. While he initially felt drawn toward physical therapy, that all changed his junior year when he had the opportunity to take Dr. Tim Cunningham’s fermentation and distillation course. The art of fermentation had been an exciting hobby that soon turned into a career as an Operations Manager for Lanthier Winery.  Mulligan has benefited from the tutelage of Cellarmaster, Chris Lanthier, a Master Distiller, and co-owner.  Mulligan also credits support from his trusted confidant and Hanover College celebrity, Khaleesi, who coincidentally happens to be his 5-year-old Labernese dog.

Emma Boomershine '20

Emma Boomershine graduated from Hanover College in 2020. While at Hanover, she majored in Elementary Education and played on the women’s lacrosse team. Emma started working at Lanthier Winery & Distillery in 2018 as a server. Since then, she has taken on the role of Marketing Coordinator. Currently, she splits her time between teaching third grade and working at the winery on weekends and during the summer.
