HISTORIC CHARLESTON ALUMNI TOUR
November 3 to November 6, 2022

Charleston, SC

SOLD OUT - We have reached our limit of 30 participants. Please call 812-866-7012 to be added to a waiting list.

Have you wondered why Charleston, South Carolina, consistently ranks as one of the country's best places to live? If so, join President Lake, Kelly Lambert, and other Hanoverians for an extraordinary alum event in Charleston. We will explore how Charleston recovered from the ravages of the Civil War to become one of the "best" cities in America.

Patterned after Hanover's 2016 lifelong learning experience in the Mississippi Delta, the trip to Charleston will focus on the area's unique place in American history and culture. We'll critically examine the issues facing Charleston and the Lowcountry and provide a list of suggested readings to aid in preparation for the journey. Roger Shinness '75 said of the Delta trip: "Hearing from experts and seeing the Delta in-person plus connecting with fellow alums and Lake and Kelly—a priceless experience.
