IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • DEADLINE: Registration will open in July 2025 and close on October 10.  
     Please note that seating and catering arrangements for all events will be based on registration.
  • Weather Information Dress appropriately and check the AccuWeather Link to help you prepare!
  • Pardon Our Progress: Please excuse our progress as the Campus Center undergoes an HVAC upgrade while remaining open.
  • Panther Shuttle Service: Six-person golf carts will be available to assist those in need on Saturday, October 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pick-up and drop-off locations are at the Four Corners (Campus Clock) and in the Tailgate Lot (near the wooden bridge to Hanoverfest).

60th ANNIVERSARY OF SHAKESPEARE IN ENGLAND | Duggan Library
Join us at the Duggan Library during Homecoming Weekend for a special celebration and brunch marking the 60th Anniversary of the Shakespeare in England program. This milestone event will honor the program's rich history and its lasting impact on generations of Hanover students. The celebration will feature a panel discussion with program leaders and alumni, including Dr. Jonathan Smith, Emeritus Professor of English; Gabriel Vanover, Associate Professor of Theatre and Theatre Department Chair; Dr. Dee Goertz, Professor of English, and others who have helped shape and sustain this transformative study abroad experience.

Join us in CLA 102 for the worldwide premiere of Hanover College's film, "The Jealous Old Man," inspired by Miguel de Cervantes' uproarious interlude. Experience the creative prowess of our Spanish and Communication students! The event starts at 11:00 a.m. with a glamorous red carpet welcome featuring the film stars. The screening begins promptly at 11:15 a.m. and runs for 30 minutes. Following the film, from 11:45 to 12:00, meet the talented cast and crew over a glass of Spanish wine and collect their autographs! Arrive early, as seating is limited!

The highest honor is the Alumni Achievement Award, given to alumni who have enhanced the College's reputation. Additionally, the College presents the Distinguished Young Alumni Award, the highest honor for alumni over 40. We're excited to invite you to our Annual Blessing of the Animals at Dr. Bob's Dog Park from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.! Bring your furry, feathered, or even scaly friends (spiders on a leash, please!) for a special blessing by our Chaplain. While we can't offer exorcisms for any mischievous cats or wayward chickens, we'll happily share prayers of gratitude and care for all of your beloved critters.
