Join us each Monday in June for a weekly "Pantry Cooking Challenge".  Our goal is to get parents, students, faculty, and staff motivated to participate, while also raising awareness of food scarcity/food waste/environmental stewardship.

What's the Challenge?

Each Monday in June, a special guest from Hanover College will post their video cooking challenge below.  Then, on June 22, our final guest chef will challenge all alumni to open their pantries, get creative, make a special dish, and post a photo of their own pantry challenge dish (site for entries TBD).  Submissions received between June 22 and June 29 will be eligible for voting.   Then, from June 29 to July 6 you can vote on the most creative dish!  Whoever has the most votes by July 6 will receive a $100 Kroger gift card.

PANTHER EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FUND

Did you know that the Panther Emergency Assistance Fund also supports the College's food pantry?  The fund provides support to both students and employees who are facing financial hardship. Gifts to the fund have supported a wide variety of needs, including financial assistance with utilities, travel back home, graduate entrance exam fees, and much, much more.

The food pantry is just one of many areas that are supported by this fund.  The food pantry supports students in lieu of traditional dining options that are not available over the summer or during breaks.  Your support will make an impact on students who stay on campus over the summer, as well as those who come back early, such as student teachers.  Thank you for supporting Hanover with your time, talent, and treasure.
