Congratulations, Class of 1997, on your 25-Year Reunion! The College looks forward to celebrating you during Homecoming Weekend, October 7-9, 2022. Registration will be available in July 2022.

To prepare for this occasion, please be sure to:

  • Make your hotel reservation today. This list of local Madison and surrounding area accommodations is an excellent resource.
  • Update your contact information to ensure you receive updates on your Reunion.

Registration is required for all events, including free events, and ends on Friday, September 30.  After September 30, refunds will not be available.  Take a look at The Guest List and see who is coming!

Friday, October 7, 2022

  • 5:30 p.m. - Alumni Awards & Reception
    Location:  Campus Center/Patio (doors open at 5:00 p.m.)
    Join trustees, faculty, staff, and students on the patio of the Campus Center as we welcome everyone back to campus for Homecoming Weekend. We'll begin with recognizing our Alumni Award Honorees, followed by a reception. Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

  • 8:00 a.m. Tailgate Lot Opens
    • September 19: a new link for HOMECOMING tailgate spots will be added to the website. These spots are first-come, first-serve until the grass lot sells. These spots are $25.00 per spot.
  • 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Campus Bookstore
    Located on the lower level of the Campus Center. A small store is also available at Alumni Stadium.
  • 10:00 a.m. - Coach Mentoring Program - Campus Center/Cafe 1827
    Are you interested in becoming an alumni mentor for a current student? Already a Coach mentor, or mentee? Join us and get a free coffee for your testimonial! Join us for an informal gathering at Cafe 1827, located on the lower level of the Campus Center.
  • 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Science Center
    Take a ride on the science side! Take a self-guided tour and enjoy displays that include colorful minerals, rare & unusual fossils, art & cultural exhibits, a butterfly collection, and more. Make sure to stop by to see The Burning Tree Mastodon - the world's most-complete American mastodon on permanent display!
  • 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Walking Campus Tour
    The campus walking tour will last for approximately one hour. Your group will depart from the campus clock at Ball Drive and Scenic Drive (near Admissions). A student ambassador will lead your group, stopping at each location on the route to provide additional information and answer questions. We recommend you bring good walking shoes and to dress for the weather. Please note: The Admission Office will be closed.   • 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Multicultural Gathering
    Location:  Reserved tailgate spot on the front row - look for the banner.
    The gathering seeks to establish a sense of inclusion among alumni who may or may not have had that community as students by celebrating the strength we find in our overlapping personal, cultural, spiritual, and social identities. Bring lawn chairs! Seating not be provided. 
  • 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - Beta Brothers Gathering
    Meet in Cafe 1827 on the lower level of the Campus Center.  Grab your favorite Starbucks coffee and catch up with friends. A few reserved tables will be available.
  • 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - LGBTQIA+ Gathering
    Location:  Reserved tailgate spot on the front row - look for banner.
    Join members of our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning alumni/ae community in the tailgate lot to celebrate pride and love. All alumni, allies, and guests are welcome. Bring lawn chairs! Seating not provided.
  • 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Volleyball Reunion and Alumni Matchup
    The match-up game will be held in Horner Center, followed by a reunion in the tailgate lot. Make sure to register for the match-up to help us determine if there is interest.
  • 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Class of 1997: 25-Year Reunion
    Location:  Reserved tailgate spot on the front row - look for reunion banner!
    Bring your lawn chairs (seating not provided) and coolers, and enjoy an afternoon with friends in your tailgating spot during Hanoverfest! Classmates are encouraged to bring yard games or other tailgating items. Enjoy the following with friends and family:

    • Face Paint
  • 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. - VIP Reception
    Location: Campus Center Patio
    By invitation only
  • 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Football vs. Blufton- GO PANTHERS!
  • 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - ALL ALUMNI DINNER REUNION (new - all alumni  & friends are welcome)
    Location: Campus Center Main Dining Room and Patio
    Cost: $45: Includes buffet dinner with an open bar
    • Reception
      • 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Receive nametags
      • 6:50 p.m. - Campus update and dinner prayer by President Lake Lambert

      • 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Sunday, October 9, 2022

  • 10:00 a.m. - Sunday Morning Service at Hanover Presbyterian Church
    Join President Lambert at the Hanover Presbyterian Church, located at 174 East Main Street, Hanover, IN 47243, as he leads the church services on Sunday, October 3. Rev. Dr. Catherine Y.E. Knott, Ph.D., will provide the Holy Communion.
